It was probably the worst trading day I've had for a while.

Let's review:

Tried my hand at an overnight OTC First Green Day stock, CBBT.

That didn't work.
TDAmeritrade charges an arm and a leg on commissions for OTCs.

Tried a Breakout pattern on AAPL.

That didn't work.
The market crashed while I was working and didn't see it.

Tried a Morning Fade pattern with HTZ.

That didn't work.
No volatility, so no price action.

Tried following an Evolved Trader alert on SNAP.

That didn't work.
I didn't take profits when it was green, then it crashed and I chased. 'Nuf said.

...

So yeah. Pretty much everything conspired against me. 

Was I over trading? Probably. Did I chase a few trades? Probably.

Plus, sometimes that's just trading life. Even when you do your best, the market humbles you. It takes your hard work, chews it up like the Cookie Monster, and swallows it. Bye bye profits from last week. It reminds you that if you're not careful, you will fail.

Is it frustrating? 

Yes.

But can one allow one bad day to get one down? (That's a lot of "one"s in one sentence... Oh, there's another)

Of course not. There's always another day, another trade, another lesson to be learned and applied.

Get up, get going, and NEVER give up.
