Entry: I bought this energy sympathy play on a late-day dip after missing it the previous day (beautiful morning spike, which faded, but remained above open). Due to previous loss, I decided to play this more conservatively and only target 5%. Exit: I got out at just above 5% profit right at market close. I was actually hoping this would hold over the weekend and potentially spike on Monday morning. But a guaranteed profit is always better than speculation.

HKLong Stock

Entry: Bought on positive SeekingAlpha report, daily break-out and doubled volume spike. Targeting 10%+ profit. Exit: Held too long. During the quick rise, I got greedy and cancelled my 10% sell order (which would've have executed at 0.37). After missing, I decided to hold over night in hopes (yes, the non-strategy) of a morning spike to sell into. I put in a sell order for 0.36 which I missed by less than a penny. I decided to just cut losses after a 3% loss.

Entry: This is an earnings loser that bounced pretty nice off it's bottom. My goal was to catch a bit of momentum for a quick 5-10% profit. Exit: Held overnight in hopes of a continued uptrend and morning spike. Was able to cash in with about 22% profit.

BBEPLong Stock
Taurus

Entry: Bought on momentum and gradual price increase hoping for 10-15% gains on suspected shorts getting squeezed during bankruptcy talks. Exit: BBEP failed to meet my expectations. I cut losses at 10%. I need to target lower percentage for cutting losses.

NETELong Stock
Taurus

Entry: Bought on momentum hoping for big gains. I failed to set a profit target and just hoped for a huge spike without even gauging key resistance points. Exit: After an approximate $600 loss, I decided to cut losses and regain my composure before jumping on the next stock.

Taurus

Entry: Bought at end-of-day Friday the 13th to hold over the weekend on strong volume and upward trend. Targeting 10%+ gain on Monday morning spike. Exit: Target sell hit at 0.51 for 13% profit. Decided to exit since this is still a questionable company that tends to miss on earnings.

NXTDLong Stock
Taurus

Entry: I bought this on decent volume and breaking out on HOD, which turned out to be a fakeout. Exit: After a LONG hold (and hope), I finally decided to part ways with this disappointment. I did not cut losses early, and I paid for it.

MGTLong Stock
Taurus

Entry: Bought on news catalyst of John McAfee taking over as CEO and high volume. Exit: Decided to take profit since I don't have a crystal ball (not realizing it would be over $3.00 today).

Taurus

Entry: Bought this on high volume from bounce using rumored news of bankruptcy as my catalyst. Exit: This stock slowed down and got boring. I decided to take $50 profit but I got distracted by something at work, and luckily for me, my previously entered sell order for about 10% profit kicked-in. Sometimes luck is on your side, but don't put yourself in a situation where you depend on it.

Entry: Broke a couple rules on this one. Bought in on boredom and used hope as a strategy. Exit: Decided to get out quick, and at least, remembered to cut losses early.
