@StephenGauf I only do 3 trades per day depending if I win the first 2 trades which means I don't bother taking the third trade. I started off by buying 100 shares and trying to make $100.00 per day I stayed like this for the 20 days trading days then the next month as long as I make my target of $100.00 per day then the next month move to 200 shares per day and increase each month by 100 shares that is how I have grown my account

@StephenGauf One trade at a time and also look for high % gainers you need to put into to your business hard work which means study chart patterns read good books and don't listen to half the crap that's out there just think of yourself.

I don't know who will see this post but if anyone has any recommendations. I'm at my wits end on shorting stock. I have to be missing something that is so simple. I'm probably going to do just like the v8 commercials and hit my forehead.

Ok, I need to get back on this horse. Got frustrated with trying to learn how to short stocks. Etrade, never has any of the share I'm looking to short. On paper I look really good. Need to make some money, so I can buy my education cds.

@timothysykes Research, research, research, I have been trying to do everything I can to do research on alot of things that you talk in you tube videos before I just jump in. I won't to be the 10% that succeed that this and not the other 90% that fails. signed the hard to borrow agreement with etrade today but when reading the fine print they could charge up to 99% interest. Any suggestions on this. when shorting. Do I stay with dollar amount I have in account or does the hard to borrow only pretain to the amount I go over.

I the interest is on borrowed amounts from Margins. Which Tim has always said to stay away from because of high risk.

@timothysykes think im gonna need a new broker. TD didn't have these stocks to short. Missed the opportunity. This would have helped since i'm a slave to DPT. Sucks!

Does it have hard to borrow stocks for shorts?

@ngucapital if you have an account under 25k, the rules does not allow you to buy and sell the same security in the same day. overnight is ok. to day trade and take advantage of some of the positions we need to make split decisions and get in and out of trades without loosing capital. Once you cross 25k the PDT is no longer a concern
