Unnecessary trade - could have spent time better studying. No short squeeze - weak breakout.
Anticipating a short squeeze + Breakout.. Over crowded stock. Was a bit early - will revisit 30 mins before close
Low priced stock - higher commissions. COVID-19 stocks were running today. Had a lot of volume - many chatrooms were pumping the stock. Exited as stock was choppy.
Fat finger mistake. Need to see the long term picture - multi-day / week breakout + news of earnings. Played the afternoon breakout over morning highs. Exited too quickly and realized that stocks under $1 with lots of shares and variable per share price = higher commissions.
Did not sufficient funds to trade this full size today. Was a perfect Tim Grittani setup. Held over previous days breakout, dip and spike in the morning - consolidated and then broke out in the afternoon - gapped up next day. I need to learn how to buy on dips and trust in the pattern - this was beautiful. So glad I saw it play out the way it did. Did not earn big on the trade but this trade gave me hope! I can learn this and do better :)
Was trying the ABCD pattern for HOD Afternoon breakout - chart was overextended, stock was up > 50% - need to consider the bigger picture. First green days are better - stocks need to consolidate on the daily and intraday before heading higher.
Sympathy play to UONE - had news - hot sector, holding support. Dow dropped - did not cut losses quickly
