Just deposited 550 totaling 630 in my E*trade account. Placed two (profitable) trades today on $HMNY and $MARK. $HMNY was an over-the-weekend hold in at $13.40 and got out Monday afternoon at $14.20. Lesson for this trade was just to not be afraid to size up more. Ive gotten pretty confident in picking the right stocks and certainly I've been right, just need to back up my plans with the right position sizes. Lesson from $MARK (in $6.55) still an open trade because since I only had $100 purchasing power It used securities from my $HMNY trade so basically trading on unsettled funds. Newbie mistake.. no biggie though, lesson learned going forward forsure. Sucks because market closed on $MARK at $7.67 GREAT FUCKING TRADE! BUT I CANT SELL! ehh, live and learn. Im going to stay in cash all week till funds settle, plus its thanksgiving week so no need for FOMO. I waited this long to trade I can be patient for a little while longer. Looking to buy a Tim DvD this weekend. Happy Holidays!
