Simple chart action play. Was looking at volume and percent gains over my lunch break. HTGM was on a bullish trend multi day pattern, with increasing volume. I took this position looking for a ten percent gain. It popped this morning and ran 45% took profit at 35%

DPW pulled from my Fidelity Screen out of 16,000 stocks it pulled six and DPW appeared to have the most potential. The chart had volume from the day before with an upward trend. On the market open my hypothesis was a 20-30% gain. While my position size was small, execution was key. Ideally I would have preferred the run up happen before the power hours Lesson Learned - Had I set a stop loss, it would have triggered mid morning missing afternoon gains. No Newsletter involved.

Alcobra was promising based on the charts, I held it way longer that initially planned. Lesson learned - Stick to the game plan.

So, in how to make millions I missed the concept of volume. That is one of the key drivers behind the micro cap markets. Volume needs to be huge to create liquidity. This stock while in the price range to take a 1k position had poor volume. Lesson Learned - Chart + Volume = Profits

This felt like a nice position, but it wasn't moving the direction I forecast thus I sold it.

Mulligan - We all have to start somewhere. This was more or less a forced / hopeful position that I exited rather quick because it was an initial "Margin" purchase. Lesson Learned - Let's not use margin just yet, why add risk? No newsletter involved here.
