Very nice moves on $TNXP $CERU and $INNL today. Witnessed all 3!

Very nice crashes on $CBIO and $DFFN today. Scary shorts but they worked out today.

 

I do not currently have any money in my brokerage account, focusing on studying these plays so I did not trade at all today but I was watching and preparing myself.

$TNXP I saw pre-market at around $5.50. Had some resistance in the $6.50 area, which if I would have had a position on this would have been my goal selling point on this stock as it had made a $1 share move and was showing signs of resistance. However, this stock pushed farther after approximately 15 minutes of holding in the $6.50 range to the $7.25 range. Here it held and bounced around a little bit until basically 5 minutes until the open where it broke out and pushed upwards all the way to the open and continued to push after the open up to $9.50 where it eventually topped. But, I can't predict that this stock would have been a 100%+ gainer and I know I would have likely sold in the resistance at $6.50 which I would have been completely fine with. A lot of people beat themselves up about selling to early and not catching the full move. I have lost a little over $2,000 in the past so to me any win would make me happy and I am glad that I saw this stock premarket even though I couldn't trade it!

$CERU was a nice aftermarket gainer yesterday that I had on my watchlist this morning. It did not do much at the open and faded down to 0.775 range. Then it changed momentum and started to climb nicely. My thought on this when I saw it at 0.82 coming back was that I would very likely test $1 and have resistance here as it is a nice round number that a lot of sellers would be selling near at 0.99 or so. I also new that it hit $1.10 aftermarket yesterday so if it could break through resistance at $1 it would likely double top at $1.10. This stock did exactly that, at first it did not break through $1 and consolidated a bit but then it pushed past $1 and topped at $1.08. Again I could not trade but I am glad that I saw this and was right.

$INNL was a good runner premarket that put it on my watchlist. I noticed that after the open it was breaking to new highs. Sure enough it kept going and got near $1.70. I was not very familiar with this stock and it did not move very fast probably would not have bought this one. Would have been more likely to go with $CERU or $TNXP but I recongized the breakout here.

$CBIO I was not looking for short opportunities on at first as these supernovas scare me on the short side as seen with $DRYS in the past. However, when this stock made a green to red move that was the short indicator for me. I am trying to get more comfortable and looking at shorting stocks. And I was right here after it went red on the day this one kept failing and it is probably a very likely potential short for tomorrow.

$DFFN I liked this overnight play and would have held overnight if I was trading but today this stock failed miserably. It looked like it tried to bounce a couple times but it just could not get the momentum and kept fading. But again these stocks scare me because they were very strong yesterday afternoon.
