Discovered Tim Sykes in 2017. Have been very sceptical about all this, but as time have passed, and I have put a lot of hours into trying to find what scam is this and how it works - I failed. Other than some anecdotical claims, I found 0 information that this is one of the many rip-off study courses. I have built a lot of trust in him and his teachings. Signed up for Tim's Challenge in April 2020.
Im 30 yo and I am successful in niche of online poker. I started studying poker in 2011, when I found out that it is possible to make a living of it in forums. I was 21yo and working the 9-5 job I hated. Spent my evenings and nights studying poker after work. After a year I had 3 month sample size of me making 10 EUR/HR playing online poker. That was my goal I agreed if I want to quit 9-5. So I quit my 9-5.
With many up and downs I made low to mid 5 figures a year playing online poker. Spent my years travelling in southeast Asia and Europe. Since 2016 I scaled my skill and moved to higher stakes. Since then I'm making 5 to 6 figures a year in low 100Ks. However the future of this niche has a lot of uncertainty and unknowns. Also, it is close to impossible to scale my skill higher and I am close to the cap.
I have always been fascinated by trading and traders. One of the first interaction with trading that really spiked an interest in me was listening to one poker podcast. Guest was a successful trader and hedge fund manager Bill Perkins, whom is very passionate playing nosebleed poker against professionals. Been following trading niche since then very closely. I am sure I have found what I will be happily married to for the rest of the upcoming years.
One of the many reasons that drives me towards my goal to becoming a successful trader is the thought of opportunity to scale in this niche. Listening to Syke, Grittani and many other successful traders breakdown their though process and their ethics really inspires me. I see myself reaching their level one day. But since I just started, I have a lot, a lot of work to do.
I am really grateful to have found Tim Sykes, this community and to be able to use this opportunity.
Starting this journey, I wish myself and all the others to work hard and enjoy the process.
