what you are seeing is profit taking IMHO - you see this alot on the big gainers - but this is not a good pattern to short into IMO - it doesnt give any indications on that its just that some take out profits before the day ends..

Wouldn't you think there would be a morning spike the next day? Or am I not thinking along the lines I should be?

@Rocco01 usually a strong finish the day before creates that - and vice versa - but its not exact science
