-$2,691 loss WPRT Long Stock

Entry comments: Bought this strong earnings winner, thats been uptrending all day 12 million shares short, methinks multi-day short squeeze, all I want is 50-75 cents/share next week, 15-25 cents/share of downside risk, I like my odds, c'mon analyst upgrade!

Exit comments: No morning spike/gap up, might happen later, but I went in with specific thesis, didn't play out so I play this safe and cut losses quickly...GREAT trade...I never mind small losses as long as I stick to the rules, I know that's difficult for newbies to understand, but when the upside is 50-75 cents/share and downside is 10-20 cents/share, if the downside happens, all u can do is cut losses quickly...that makes it a good trade...letting losses potentially run would make it bad, understand?

WPRT volume increased from 1.52 to 1.74 M , I guess it's spiking now?? And it's climbing back up now...

I stayed in there this morning and took profits at $16.05 ($231.15) cause I had to go to work. When I got to work I chkd $WPRT it was up to $16.33 but I followed Tim's rules and took profits. -MOJO

$8,030 profit XOOM Long Stock

Entry comments: Went over this earnings winner the entire http://tim.ly/sykesmc webinar this morning, strong growth, mobile sector, terrible longterm chart, good dip buy, resistance at 23.60 which it just took out quite easily, goal is to sell int he 24s, wish it were lower priced but this is as solid an earnings winner as u can get

Exit comments: NAILED the breakout!! Wanted 24, but only got up to 23.90ish, choppy stock, spread currently 23.70 x 23.96, Congrats especially to http://tim.ly/sykesmc as I just spent basically 2 hours discussing why this stock would breakout ever since we started watching it at $23...now nearly $1/share higher mid-day, taking profits and locking it in...I know its higher priced so it's not ideal, but STRONG mobile growth, this could keep going

$1,830 profit VTNR Long Stock

Entry comments: Speculative chart breakout play, up on strong volume, new 52-week high, needs to break above 8.15ish for bigtime breakout ideally to the mid 8s as it likes to gap up 30-40 cents/share, risk of double top though so be careful

Exit comments: Not closing strong at all, basically flat trade, not risking a perfect double top like MOBI a few weeks ago...potential rebuy ONLY when it breaks above 8.10-8.15 resistance, not when it fails to break out and comes down minute by minute like this

Bought @ 8.04 just before close and also just before the sell off profit-takers. Now unhappily holding overnight. Do you think I should sell @ the open or see if it comes back up tomorrow?

@timothysykes From an economic prospective you have to wonder how much longer this artificial demand expansion brought on by Fed stimulus policies can last? If our economy is 70% consumption, it means that a rise in interest rates would come down hard on an economy that's dependent upon cheap credit and massive amounts of debt. I don't see much more upside from here unless Janet Yellen decides to push rates into negative territory (which she has been in favor of in the past).

I'm new as well, been a member for almost a month. I'd suggest you buy his DVD's, I've watched both ShortStocking and PennyStocking, they're well worth the investment if you intend on doing this for a living. Every business must first invest in Land, Labor and capital. Investing in a few DVD's is a small risk compared to the massive potential upside.
