That's awesome to hear Mafiatrading! Thank you both for the input, I'll just have to keep studying and find a way.

If you don't have time, then swing trade or invest. Sow your seeds and let it grow. If you want to day trade, then create a strict time schedule. Note you don't have to watch the screen all day. Rewatch Tim's lessons and note what times Tim trades. Like Scott_PaperTrader_legit said, you could do Superman too http://bit.ly/2fy1vFb

I have an Etrade and TDAmeritrade account (my way of getting around the PDT rule), I love the ToS platform ... it has everything you need imo ...

@TheKumar I really like the mobile app. Ive heard that Ameritrade isn't great for finding shorts, but I like going long anyways so it works great for me.

ETRADE pre is free if you make 20 or 30 trades per quarter, it might be 30, check that. So, even under the PDT rule it will still be free. ETRADES charts are hard to work with and not very customizeable but they do have more shares to short vs. TOS. TOS has the best charts but their Level2 is not the greatest, but useable. Best way to go is trade through IB and use TOS for charts at some point

ToS IMO is better, it offers free level 2 data, which is important when starting out... I also like their mobile trading platform better than E-Trade's. I use both brokers to allow more trades, I get 6 in fibe days rather than 3

I agree with the Trailing Stop-Order suggestion. I love that feature. It always saves my rear end.

I'll get my crap together next time, at least this stock has a good chance of spiking , I've noticed a lot of stocks do after being delisted

When did you buy it? If you bought it at open Friday you're really only protecting about 70 dollars. Every little bit counts but the best chance to make any real money was midday when it hit nearly 11 cents. You might be better off waiting to see if there's a morning pop to gain a little extra.

Oh the nerves!! Well, that said, you made your first trade. Congrats!! I still yet to make first trade. Thank you for sharing ... this does help a lot of us who will be crossing that threshold.

As Tim always says "hope is not a strategy", which is something I have to remind myself at times. You kept your losses small, and protected your account. Great job!
