I have a Scottrade account. I've had it for years. They've always have done well by me including instant trade executions. The problem I'm having now that I'm trading more is that some, not all, OTC stocks I get an alert that says I need to call my local branch before I can trade this stock. Some of the stocks I wanted to trade were $POTN and $BTSC, $BTCS, etc. I've traded low priced penny stocks before like $CBIS without a problem.
I'm wondering if there are any good brokers out there (E-trade, Fidelity, etc) where I don't need to get permission to trade what I want, because the time it would take to call a branch office to get permission, or for whatever reason they want me to call, then the trade is gone.

Interactive Brokers will allow you to buy those OTCs all you have to do after creating an account is sign an electronic form acknowledging the risk of those type of stocks
i had to change my settings on IB before i could trade OTC
E Trade and IB are both good for OTCs. Just make sure you set your trading permissions correctly on IB as KTM4NICK mentioned
Thanks! I'll check them out. It was just frustrating that Scottrade would let me trade some OTCs but not others.
