Hey,
Just thought I'd give a little intro to who I am if anyone was interested in following me on this journey into the next year of being in Tim's Trading Challenge.
I work as a casual Paramedic, have been for the last 7 years. I stay casual to keep control of my schedule. It kills me enough to hear my fellow co-workers getting denied vacation time when all they wanted to do was get away and relax, this job is stressful enough, they (the company) do not need to make it even more stressful. Either way this keeps a certain level of freedom in my life, also since I like to travel it makes it easier to take time off.
I had gained an interest in trading 2 years ago from my brother who had, had one of those "Hey look at this" moments. I found it to be quite interesting and I jumped right on in and over the course of those two years I think I have made every rookie mistake. I had however read A LOT, watched plenty of videos, and of course have been follow Tim Sykes and watching his new videos and blogs he releases.
I had now gotten into a position where I wondered where I wanted to go in life. It was either pursue more into trading or upgrade my skills to an Advanced Paramedic. How I made my decision was putting two books in front of me and deciding which one I would rather study and it was a no brainer, the trading one. So I I then applied to the trading challenge and now here I am to study and learn from not just Sykes, but from many mentors and fellow challenge students.
I look forward to the next year and wish everyone good luck in there trading journey.
Former volunteer EMT here. I just recently started the challenge myself and just wanted to wish you luck on your trading journey as well.
