I have been posting my trades ot profit.ly in addition to maintaining my Google Sheet because I am hoping it will make me more accountable and more motivated to learn lessons. I am a private person, so I don't seek out advice nor do I usually welcome receiving it. I learn by doing. I readily admit to starting daytrading before I knew much of anything. I don't know a lot of the lingo. Perhaps I don't even know some fundamentals. But I do have a feel for how I can be successful. I wouldn't be doing it if I didn't think I could succeed. But I definitely act counter to the conventional wisdom.
I'm fortunate that I can afford to lose significantly early on, though, of course that was not the plan, and it is gutting when I make easily preventable errors. I try to take lessons away, and I know I have to mistake the same mistakes more than one sometimes.
Anyway, I am going to dump my daily summaries from the last couple of weeks into here. I'll probably use terminology that highlights what a novice I am. I'm doing this mostly for myself, again.
I have a long, long queue of videos and articles and books to read, and I know most people don't dive it without more pre-study. But my life has been upended during pandemic, and this is the time for me to dive it and learn as I go.
