Entry comments: I decided to improve my swing trading to help with not getting my self caught in another FOMO scenario. I lost big in a trade on $THLD when I gave in to FOMO and entered as I was chasing. The result was a huge loss. My goal here is to swing for likely a few days, I'm watching the 200ema, MAC-D, and AO. There appears to be a strong up trend, and it is nearing a breakout level @ 9.22.
Exit comments: Added to the position size. I plan on swinging this for a few days. Indicators show a continued uptrend towards the multi-day breakout level @ 9.22. With current entry average, reaching that target would be about a 14% gain. Looking to get above breakout.

Entry comments: Momentum play. I made the mistake of moving my stop thinking it would see more upward movement. Swinging overnight to see if it gaps again.
Exit comments: HUGE set back for me at the start of the month. No one to blame but myself and my deciding to pay the stupid tax. I made the mistake of entering as a chase vs waiting for a breakout. That put me at the top, which of course faded and I then moved my stop "hoping" it would go back up. Stupid on so many levels. Ugh. Moving on.

I attempted to get in closer to $12.79 HOD breakout but wasn't able to get a fill until 12.88. I adjusted my trailing stop from .25 to .10 after taking a small loss in $MTL to protect earlier gains. Was hoping it would run more but the indicators showed a decline so I'm not surprised I was stopped out. I'll take the $40

Decided to take a smaller swing trade over the weekend after this was running up and crossed the 52 week high. I was looking for it to continue higher on Monday betting that there might be positive news on Sunday. It ran a bit at the open but faded quickly. My trailing stop set at .25 knocked me out with a small loss. I was a little bummed but not beating my self up over it. Live to trade again. Risk management, risk management, risk management!
