Just a ridiculous trade - bought so late in the day - then when it tanked I didn't sell and had many opportunities. Thought the virus fever would carry this up. Bought afternoon hoping for gap up over the weekend, in spite of all obvious information. Argh. The buying a stock at it's highs is a habit that has GOT TO GO!

Where I'm encouraged by this is that I did cut losses - so this is really important and I MUST cut losses quickly as that's where I've bled and given back my small wins. Taking the emotion out of selling positions (only doing longs now) and a solid plan (putting in Stops) may be a way to get discipline here.

Total deer in the headlights - if this wasn't a kick in the pants to study and review my notes more, I don't know what was. Feeling pretty dumb, I messed the trade up start to finish and was then paralyzed in the face of stop loss (which was written down) then ignored. Hold and Hope isn't a strategy. Lesson learned today.
