Tim Bohen, Tim's old student posted this on Twitter. I thought it was a great quote since I made a bad trade on Thursday and held overnight. I've never been so stressed in my life. Just typing this out and reviewing my trades is giving me anxiety. When you're emotional you can't think rationally and do things you wouldn't do if you had a clear head. Crazy how the mind works. My goal next week is to plan plan plan. No more forcing trades because when you do you get emotional, you don't plan and you can't see the patterns clearly. Anyway I'm just venting. I normally do this when I trade badly. I really need to step up my game and be more disciplined. I know everyone makes mistakes but my mistakes seem to happen more times than not. Anyway that's my vent for today. Back to studying and doing homework.
“Whatever the needs of the moment, I had a choice: I could do what was required calmly, patiently, and attentively, or do it in a state of panic. Every moment of the day—indeed, every moment throughout one’s life—offers an opportunity to be relaxed and responsive or to suffer unnecessarily.”
