This is going to be a rant. People like to make assumptions just from looking at your winning % which I've come to realize is not important. You could have a 30% win ratio and if you're good at cutting losses and have big gains on the 30% of trades you've won then it doesn't matter. I've just started seeing results in the last month and am confident I will trade well going forward because 1. I know what patterns to look for and 2. I've finally developed a solid routine/process. So for someone to say I won't have longevity in the game from looking at a couple of trades and because I have a 50% win ratio is ridiculous. 1. Do they know how long I've been studying? 2. Do they know it has taken me a full year to develop my strategy/process. So the first year for me doesn't count as I was studying and testing. And only after 13 months it finally clicked and I'm starting to see results albeit small. And this is because I'm taking tiny positions but still manage to make 20-50c/share gains. When I start sizing up, it will be a totally different game. 

Anyway just wanted to vent and advise people in my position not to listen to cocky people who think they know it all, even if they are profitable unless they genuinely want to help. They might have a different strategy to you and they are not you and don't know how much you've studied and what skills you've already developed. Use this negativity as a driver to work harder and become successful. Believe in yourself and start blocking out all the noise and focus only on yourself. Never compare yourself to others. When I did that I started seeing results.
