This is an early market scan to find stocks that are on the rise. You can adjust the % move as you see fit. If you set the % too high you will have fewer results. Remember, a stock has to move 2% before it can move 10% so keep that in mind.
There are a few quick scripts to add to the scan columns and they are listed here:
Script 1: Vol1d
reference VolumeAvg("length" = 1) from 1 bars ago
Script 2: VolDiffChange
reference VolumeAvg ("length" = 1) - VolumeAvg("length" = 1) from 1 bars ago
Script 3:Vol10davg
reference VolumeAvg("length" = 10)
These might be valuable tools because they may help you quantify the move up. In other words, is there real volume behind the move or is the move just to thin?
Use this as needed and post questions as needed also. There are several steps to get these active in the scanning page so I will just do the VolDiffChange script as and example to save time in the video.
Hope this helps some people in our 'family' here.

this is so cool!
I got more!...but need a breather...stay tuned... ;)
Thanks for all this information. Finally feels like I have a little bit direction. :-))
Wont these scanners pick up on stocks too late? Lets say a stocks volume yesterday was 2 million, by the time this scanner picks it up, the volume has to be over 2 million. In 2 million of volume, a lot of stuff can happen especially all the big spikes right at open. This may work for end of day only, right?
