So this is the first time that I've ever been looking at this amount of money for the taking:

I put $VHC on my twitter feed about 2 weeks ago as one to watch:

 

I bought in at an average of about $3.92 for 2.5K shares and based on the news coming in for the past two weeks $VHC had basically won the case and it was a matter of how much $AAPL owed $VHC...turned out that today the jury awarded them about 625MIL, about 3x their current market cap. I was pretty much keeping up with every headline and message board posting per the case.

This is the only thing I have been following since that time because $AAPL could have settled out of court at any time but they went to trial. There was a spike that I tried to exit on lat week but with the daily volume of about 500K shares I got a crap 100 share exit. Sooo, I held and reloaded on the dip that put my average at about $3.92 and exited at $9.05 after hours today with the double top and now it's creeping back up...but I'm done.

Tomorrow will be very volatile for this stock and I will probably just let things soak in for the rest of the week.

My previous 'personal best' for a trade was just under 5K per a EUR/USD FOREX trade some years ago and this more than doubled it. All this does is set a goal for me to best this trade so I'll target 15K on that one.

Patience pays! This might hit $10 after hours but I had to lock in what I could. Who knows, it might hit $15 before the end of the week per all the chatter but I've added $13,400 to my account and I think that's pretty f'ing cool. But you know what? I feel humble. I'll get excited the day I can do this as my main source of income and I still have a LONG way to go before that happens.

Lookee there..$VHC at 9.50 now...that could have been another $1,250 in my account! I don't care. I banked already and my 18 year old single malt is already poured.

I'm out...going to scratch my cat behind his ears and figure out where to take my crazy wife to dinner this weekend.
