My new leaf that I said I was turning over paid off! Watched all morning and decided I wasn't going to force anything since I didn't see anything I liked. I was looking for a swing and this gem came up on my late day scanner. It was a beautiful daily chart and has been gradually on the rise all week. I got in during consolidation and it took off towards end of day, I could have held on longer but decided to take a decent little profit to add to my green week. NEW LEAF, NEW LEAF, NEW LEAF!!!!

Poor, silly trade all around. Tried to get a 500$ position to swing overnight, only filled half by the time the bell rang so it canceled half of my order and was left with a ~250$ position. Chalking it up as practice, as I'm trying to get into swing trading more. Got out once it went red, faded rest of the day.

Second short of my career and of the day! both for ~100$. Saw this flaming hot stock nearing 1.50$ it was late in the day so I figured it might be the top. A lot of profit takers coming in late and people closing out their positions before EOD, got in at 1.47 very pleased how close I was to 1.5, I was risking off of 1.54ish because I didnt want to get scared if it tapped past 1.5. took about 20 minutes for it to fade and left some on the table. Very happy regardless!

Sort of a silly trade, more for education rather than anything else. This was my first attempt at a short. Also it was sort of an experiment of shorting overnight. I had heard/thought maybe there was some interest incurred for holding a short position overnight (false) and also want to familiarize myself with the process. So, I took a small position on this slow mover, with the idea that I knew it wouldn't spike on me over the weekend. Paid 1.78 to learn a little bit, and I am okay with that.

BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD chase... My #1 losing habit for sure... This one was a major wake up call. I will be turning over a new leaf moving forward, starting tomorrow! Haha, no more chasing, no more forcing trades. Thats exactly what I did here. Couldnt execute my fills on 2 or 3 prior dips and watched them spike right after, kept chasing as the stock ramped without me, finally filled.... at the top! ahhhh!!! Paying to learn, on to the next one!
