Early Watchlist today as I was able to watch stocks into the close. Decided to put out a quick one.
AKAO - I talked about this in my last watchlist and ended up dip buying this today. May be a risky position but the potential reward greatly out weighs the potential risk lol. Like I said I want this to be able to retest all time highs and hopefully break. Hardly dropped today, held the levels I talked about in my last watchlist, and uptrended into the close so I'm liking this currently. I need to this hold atleast 17 at this point for me to stay in for a buy, but I'd rather this just spike tomorrow and/or steadily uptrend all day tomorrow from the current level which it definitely can with the appropriate volume/strength. I'm going to try my best to watch this tomorrow but classes and all. Not that worried though because if it does end up being red on the day it wont be that red unless it gets really bad panic for some reason.
BNTC - "Benitec Biopharma Limited is pleased to announce that the European Commission, based on a favourable recommendation from the European Medicines Agency Committee for Orphan Medicinal Products, has granted Orphan Drug Designation to BB-301 as an orphan medicinal product for the treatment of patients with oculopharyngeal muscular dystrophy (OPMD)." This is good news, so I'm cautious of bouncing off of three. But, no clear support until like 2.5 and it made that today lol. I'm in this for a short in the 3.3's and I'm up a little bit. I want this to break 3, which I'm almost sure it's going too tomorrow. Like I said it's a low float so If it tried to hold 3.0 I might have to get out. But if it does break I may cover into 2.6 or 2.5, unless of course it keeps showing downtrending action, I'd be happy to continue to hold this.
BCEI - Not really too big on buying this because of all that resistance above lol especially right there at 3.2 I don't know what this can do tomorrow but I imagine choppiness around the level it's at. If it holds above 2.9 tomorrow maybe it can spike/squeeze past 3.2 the next day. It has almost just as much support under as it does above so I'm curious to see what this does tomorrow. It spiked on news of a beneficial owner buying 3,618,922 shares, or about $4.85 million worth of stock, at $1.34 to $1.45 per share. That price is a good amount below the price it's at now so...it'd have to show me some really good price action for this to be a buy for me. That doesn't mean I'm counting on this to show negative price action though which I'm sure it could do the exact opposite.
PULM - Low float that spiked off of news of an FDA designation. That's good news for any stock, more so this one, as it's January, it's a beaten down stock, and there were probably a lot of short sellers still in this so they got squeezed out. This doesn't really have history of being a big two day spiker and it's longterm chart is....atrocious lmao. It was also showing negative price action into the close. Now, if this holds 1.4, and gets enough strength at that level (maybe has a double or triple bottom would give it a lot of upwards momentum) It may be able to retest highs, especially since it's a low float. On the other hand, this could just have a failed morning spike premarket or even at the open and end up being a superb short. If I had to choose I'd be short biased on this stock as of right now, but if it shows true basing and spikeability at the 1.4 level and above.. I'm not TO sure it would drop that I'd get into a short position right now lol. This could just drop tomorrow, through all types of support, and that's what I see it doing the most at the moment.
NAKD - Talked about this in my last watchlist and the only reason I'm still watching it is because today it decided to end higher than the last trading day's close. I want to see what it does tomorrow. Could be red and get some lower high action tomorrow, but I just want to see.
GLBS - Was spot on with this on my last watchlist of course doesn't take a genius to predict today's drop. But the price action I saw today I'm looking to see tomorrow. The only reason I think it can do it again is because it ended higher than it's lows, so if it holds above it's lows tomorrow it can squeeze again and become a beautiful short. Of course it could just not be able to go anywhere and just drop more tomorrow through today's lows. But never hurts to look.
