Aloha,
I'll keep it quick.
So my plan was to buy BIOS 2.50 - 2.60 on the open, see what happens at 3 and worst case scenario get out at 2.90. Well.... Pre-market kick my ass and opened right around 3 and took off. I speculated that if it went pass 3 it might run to 4. Anyway I got in at 3.10 and played this horrible.
Here is my question. I tried buying in pre-market about four times between 2.50 and 2.80. My orders just sat there. I trade with fidelity and didn't see any type of restrictions in regards to pre-market trading. Am I missing something or can trading afterhours be that difficult to get in? Volume was way up so I just don't understand. If I'm misunderstanding something please school me.

(sweet trading hours ;)
Set the terms to GTC EXT. Sometimes you have an AM option which stands for EXTENDED HOURS AM or PM for EXTENDED HOURS PM. (TD AMERITRADE)
Also, in my experience with TD, you can only trade with LIMIT orders in the extended sessions, not market
Awesome information y'all. After doing some easearch and for myself to sellf BIOC this morning i found the issue. I had a GTC order. So it wouldn't eecute. Also i found a link about fidelity trading in extended areas and it says to call. So im assuming there is an agreement or something because right now i don't even have the option to trade afterhours.
Thanks you!
