TGTX - 37.2 million float - Hot biotech stock having moved on news of a succesful clinical trial. That coupled with early shorts getting squeezed, has pushed this way up. Watching for the start of its descent to short. 11.60 highs the last two trading days. Huge price range with the volatility of this stock. Looks to be gapping up slightly this morning. Will continue to keep an eye on it for a move down. 10.60 support from yesterday.
MEET - 52.6 million - Up on earnings, with a huge gap into yesterdays trading. Made for a great dip buy. Watching for news to spread on it and as Tim is hoping for: an analyst upgrade. Would consider another dip buy. 6.20 resistance, 5.70 support.
AUPH - 52.8 million - Another big biotech runner, having gapped up last week on trial news. After a few days of consolidation, it made its big move up yesterday. Keeping an eye on this, for when it finally starts to come down. Its got a long ways to fall. Currently in process of gapping down. The 7.25 area proved to be resistance. Now keeping an eye on the 6.50 area for support.
CNCE - 21.4 million - Biotech hot stock, having gapped huge going into Monday morning. Big price fluctuation throughout both trading days this week. Seems to get to a certain point late morning and shift momentum entirely. Will be watching to short if this continues that trend again today, moving up then down. 18 dollars is the key area to keep an eye on for resistance, according to this weeks chart. Watching 15 for support.
PRKR - 11.6 million - Incredible gap up on news of a lawsuit win. Will be keeping an eye on this for a morning spike. More of a watching and waiting situation for me at this point, as it'll need to prove itself to me first. In the event of a gap n' crap situation, i'd consider shorting. Potential 4.50 resistance and 3.50 support.
Thanks for writing this up Nick. Good to see your angle for the day. I need more strategy and planning in my trades.
Making a plan and sticking to it are two different animals.. I've been getting myself into trouble recently, not respecting stops. Will continue working towards it. Best of luck with your trading endeavors!
