July was pretty much a terrible month. Month Two, can't hate. I have adjusted risk to go from $100 set risk per trade to $50 set risk per trade. Could be less as well. I have been getting my ass kicked on the HOD Fakeouts. Definitely no more trading from 11-2P this month. Took up Sykes 30 Day Bootcamp. Not a lot I have not already studied through the first 7 days BUT there are some little nuggets in there that are worth the $80 or whatever. Still getting swept up in chatroom hype. Missed my fill on SRNE yesterday by a nickel and watched it go for another $4 after that. I can't technically lose on that trade, so there is a bright side. Starting to see students in STT starting to win at a rapid speed ahead of me. Its a little ego bruising but we are not all created equal. I see a lot of them just coat tailing picks as well. Not that I am not guilty of that, but I am trying to become independent of the chat. All told, I have started swinging more stable assets to at least try and grow some of my accounts. I am still looking at OTCs for rappers though. The gun-shy trading is a real thing for me now. I would dump my account into AAPL if I had enough tp make it worth it. That being said, while my money is working in the market I am trying to study. Started incorporating passed charts into my study as well. Will lay Bohen's teachings over a passed chart to see where I can improve. Still need help on entries and exits but I need to mostly watch out for the HOD Fake. Its coming, just slower than I wanted. Rome was not built in a day and all these peeps riding high off chat trades won't have the longevity that I seek.
I papertraded (or very very small risk, like $10) for almost a year before I was winning consistently and started sizing up. It's hard to see people progress faster than you, and I had a hard time at first seeing people find multiple days every day, when I only had 1 or 2 setups. It's more of an emotional game than anything. Hang in there and you will get it!! It sounds like you've got the right attitude and the right strategy, just keep at it, refining and practicing, and you will get bette
@Integra that is crazy that you tracked that. A little reassuring as well. Thank you
@Lyoness I have definitely sized down which I am ok with. I want consistency not Home runs. Thanks for the input!!
@Integra would love to see your list as well. might be some cool data on there I can use?
