4-15 Watchlist 

 

Tomorrow nearly 80 million Americans are expected to receive their stimulus money from the government. Despite recent market rallies many of the major S&P 500 stocks are down over 50%. Trump suspends WHO funding amid the battle over how they’ve handled the pandemic. Retail sales are expected to plunge and cases of confirmed Covid near 2 million as Governors mull reopen strategies. 

 

 

ALDX- today announced positive Phase 1 clinical trial results for ADX-629, an orally available reactive aldehyde species inhibitor in development for the treatment of systemic immune-mediated diseases. ALDX also announced phase 2 clinical development plans for ADX-629. The chart for this stock isn’t terrible and is showing if it can break $3.50, that would be a multi-week breakout. I’ll be keeping an eye out price action to break through that resistance.

 

BCRX- jumped recently as it announced it’s entry into the Covid-19 epidemic as it opened enrollment into a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial for the effects of galidesivir in patients with COVID. This stock has bounced off its lows and is now testing multi-week highs. Its trying to push to $3.00 and with volume it could. I’ll be watching the $3.00 range and the volume as well.

 

MEIP- today announced the appointment of Cheryl L. Cohen to its board of directors and Kyowa Kirin Co., Ltd. jointly announced that the companies have entered into a global license, development and commercialization agreement to further develop and commercialize MEI’s ME-401, an oral, once-daily, investigational drug-candidate, selective for phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase delta. This shot the stock up nearly $2.00 before correcting back down. This stock is a no buy for me unless it can retest past $3.75 as it came down after breaking multi-year highs. 

 

RWLK- has climbed up from its all time lows, nearly 100% in a week, with no news. Volume is up significantly in the recent days. The chart looks like a potential pump and dump so be careful but I want to keep an eye on it to see how well it moves. There isn’t a definitive buy price for me however.
