Happy with this trade albeit that it wasn't perfect and left plenty of money on the table. Long 2K IDXG @ 2.25 on news that United Health is going to cover IDXG's cancer test. Was confidant in the news but less than perfect entry @ 2.25 plus the fact that I needed to go catch a plane meant I took my profits prematurely. Exited @ 2.42 for a $340 profit. 10 minutes more patience would have been $1,600 more profitable and I would have still caught my plane. Thank-you Timothy Sykes and the market.

AUPHShort Stock

Couldn't borrow shares to Short SSKN, my preferred play after a 1:5 reverse split, so shorted AUPH @ 7.22. Bought to Cover @ 7.10 when price spiked at beginning of Power Hour. Was a little over ambitious in terms of my profit objectives originally in looking for a break below 6.90 and consequently passed over several opportunities to exit around 6.95.

PLUGLong Stock
MidnightTrader

Long $PLUG @ 2.36 on news of Amazon deal plus right for Amazon to buy a shareholding. $PLUG was up pre-market on ~9m volumBue but faded off pre-market highs and traded in a range all day. Shows that companies with a 176m float do not spike like small float companies, despite a volume of 134m shares traded. Nervous about holding overnight so exited @ 2.25 to be safe.

WHLRShort Stock
MidnightTrader

My first Reverse Split trade. Shorted WHLR after Reverse Split. Could have shown a little more patience to get a better entry. A little unsure of how this stock would behave as it was a real company with a higher price than those reverse splits I had paper traded. Exited on Day 3 after stock bounced off a low of 13.30 back to the 13.50 area. As it turned out, the price re-traced to the LoD @ 13.30 at market close.

TTPHLong Stock
MidnightTrader

Long TTPH at 8.73 on b/o above previous 52 week high. When price moved through resistance around 9.00 at market open I made the mistake of setting my sights on it continuing the run to the next price target around 10.50 and not taking profits in the 9.10 - 9.15 area. Gave back 0.22 - 0.27 profit per share before exiting at 8.88 for a small profit. Only took a 500 share position as this was my first overnight hold for selling into morning spike.

Shorted AUPH at 7.34 during afternoon fade and buying to cover two hours later at 7.12 for small profits.

Long SALT at 9.20 on b/o above yesterday's high of 9.15. Risk @ 9.10 and looking for price target of $10.00. Got uncomfortable with price action at 9.35/9.40 and exited @ 9.40 for a small profit in an 11 minute trade. Today I didn't have enough patience and so left further gains on the table as SALT reached a HoD @ 9.95 - just under the $10.00 price target.

CURLong Stock
MidnightTrader

Long $CUR at 6.05 on b/o above previous highs. Risk @ 5.90 and looking for price target of 7.00. Gave stock 45 minutes to prove itself then exited @ 6.11 when stock showed signs of weakness before retracing back to 5.85 and then ending day @ 5.65. Not a great trade from a profit perspective but showing a better plan and execution.

AUPHShort Stock
MidnightTrader

Shorted AUPH at 7.13, with risk at HoD of 7.24, after stock had risen from 3.60 to 7.00+ over multiple green days. Looking for a break below 7.00. Exited at 7.10 for a scatch after failure to break below support at 7.00. While not a great trade in terms of profit, the positives are that I set my risk level and got out when the price action wasn't what I was looking for, albeit that I didn't hold until my risk level was hit.

IMMULong Stock
MidnightTrader

Went Long $IMMU into spike on news of a $250m upfront and upto $1.7bn in milestone payments plus royalties licensing agreement. Missed opportunity to exit for profit p/m on 13th. Should have cut losses sooner rather than hold and hope.
