My name is Manuel. I am 27 and have been trading for 2 years. To be honest I first looked into the stocks because of the movie Wolf of Wall street. Before this I was working at a trash company for 12 hours a day for 100$. Not going to lie it was a difficult time. On the side I was a music producer and found some success. Instead of buying dumb shit I started paying debt off and reducing my expenses. When the movie came out I looked into the subject and started doing research and found tim. I had less the 1k staved but I was really anxious to start. I don't recommend doing that. I just stared watching videos non stop and got tim alerts while also funding a 300$ account. I shouldn't have but I started trading right away. My first 2 trades were both like 40$ losses and the 3rd was a 350$ profit on $OHGI. With the profits I bought tims HTMM and have watched it twice. I learned a lot but there's a lot more that we can learn, there always is. My first year I was negative 1,700 and my second is negative 1,300. I probably would of had a bigger loss this year but back in November I feel like it has clicked and I've been grinding my way back. I've been saving on the side 8k and funded my account with that. Since November, I'm now close to the 8.5k. I know its not much but that's another thing. We all have to start with a different risk tolerance. Just because one person trades with 5k shares doesn't mean you can. You have to earn it. Robin hood said there not charging commotions so I went with them so I can learn. I really missed up by trading too big to soon and it messes with your emotion. I had to start back small just to get me back to 100 shares. It was annoying as fuck but I want to make this my full time job. I had to become more disciplined. I had to make a trading system that worked for me and kept me in the game. Its just like anything else you do. The more you do it, the better you get. That's why you need a system that will keep trading in the long run. You cant trade big just because you want to quit your job faster. Trust me we all hate our jobs and I want to quit too. The first time I made 350$ in a few minutes I was hooked. Im up 3% finally lol. I have a long way to go but I just wanted to share this with anyone that is in the same spot as me or just starting out. You have to put in the time, be patient, control your emotions, be discipline and follow your rules no matter what. Thank you. twitter.com/eamuzik
