So I want to take a different approach from how our guru teach. I know I am far from the level to be teaching trade patterns. But I can share my life experiences. And if you can take 1% from it, that would be awesome.
I want to discuss Routines. Your daily schedule or habits. This can be good or bad. From the time you go to bed, to what you eat, to your time spent working on yourself. Take a little time to think about it. It is so easy to let someone else take up our time, i.e Work, this is a prime example of how someone else can set our routine for us. Don't get me wrong, I still work, my boss requires me to be in a certain time of day and perform a certain action and leave at a certain time. That is a routine. Now I am going to ask you a deep thought-provoking question, what ROUTINE am I doing to add value to myself?
The thing that is definite in all of our lives is Time. We all have equal 24hours in a day. Now if you leave it up to chance, are you truly making life happen for you, or you letting life happen to you. By setting up a routine that you systematically set for yourself helps you regain a portion of your life back. Take control of the wheel and direct yourself in the direction you want to be.
Here, I'll share with you my routine, maybe you can mirror it, or tweak it to fit your own schedule. Whatever you do with it, I encourage you to do something. "Continue doing the same thing expecting a different result, is the law of insanity"
Now my routine is aligned with my Goals that I am shooting to achieve. Your goals will be different. We can discuss the goals setting later.
Here we go:
5am Up doing my morning routine (Coldwater on face, brush teeth, drink large cup of water, silent prayer of gratitude)
5:30 Exercise or Stretch depending on the day
6:15 Cold Shower (do something Hard, your body will get stronger)
6:30 Visualize, Review Goals, and Review day schedule
7 Breakfast and Devotional with my Wife, make sure you tell the people in your life that you love them, spend quality time with them.
8 Mkt Analysis, this is when I sit down to review my WL, and look at morning runner, dig into the company and formulate a plan if it fits my trade pattern. From now till Market open at 9:30 I make sure I am prepared, don't wait till mkt open to use the restroom, get all that taken cared of during this window.

11 Lunch with Wife
11:30 - 2:00 are a window for me to tackle my schedule of To-Do's, it consists of Reading, Journaling, business-related details, NET timing with audios, rewatch Trading Education, this is how I can add the energy into areas I want to improve.
2 Back to mkt to see what's been moving, this is a good time for me to update my WL. Plan for potential trades for the close.
4 I wrap things up, finalize all my journal entries, and finalize my WL.
4:15 Dinner with my wife spend time to listen to her day, remember this is to my guys, Listen to her and not try to fix anything, trust me, this will go a very long way
5 Review my goals and plans for tomorrow, Prayer of Gratitude, Unwind
During the week I sleep around 5:30 so I can prepare for my night shift at my current Job. You may think wow that's tough, but I am blessed to have this position, it fits my trading schedule and allows me to focus on growing towards my dream.
Take the time to do a self-audit, take a look at your routines and list it out, reflect on your day, your week, what do you find yourself doing that you feel can be improved or can be enhanced. Look at areas where you might be wasting time. If you taking 1hr lunch, take 30min lunch and do 30min of reading. Little things like that over time and really add massive value to your world.
