Actually was worse than posted. I tried to cut losses quickly but found I could only sell 200 shares because the remaining 100 were stuck under the PDT rule and had to hold overnight. Dropped to 1.23. Late morning spike on 12/31 let me get out at 1.32 for an additional $11 loss. This is why we learn with small positions!
Dip buy on earlier position. This was the very bottom. Worked out in the end, but could easily have been a $50 loss overall, or much worse.
Should have cut losses at the first dip to .083! Held through testing at .0805 (and bought another 5000). Volume very low, price held above .08 for 45 min before finally moving rather quickly to .09.
Should have waited for 5min green candle, and exited more quickly. I still fumble with the etrade platform.
After a $50 loss buying the bottom TOO EARLY..... this was a very nice trade..... entry after first 5min green candle, held through re-test at .16, sold 3000 at .18 and final 2000 when it faltered at .20. Interested in seeing what happens tomorrow!
Shoulda coulda held longer as GRTX continued to run.... but didn't want to risk turning a win into a loss if it didn't hold the spike.
