Yet again I'm my own worst enemy! Was watching another stock, but chatroom comments made me change and jump into VOIL. Meanwhile the stock I was watching spiked and I missed it. MUST STICK TO MY OWN PLAN!
Finally a small win. Again, if I'd been patient and waited, it would have turned into a big win. But at least I had a green day - the first in a while.
Yet again I didn't cut my losses and held on for an uptrend that never came. Have I learned the lesson this time?
Held this for a long time as Tim had it on his long term alerts. Finally cut my losses.
Finally a small green number! Only 10 cents but it was a perfect little spike - in near the bottom and out at the top.
Bought 3000 and then watched the price drop. I have a very bad habit of jumping in at the top of a spike. Hopefully this is now a lesson learned!
Tried shorting again - unsuccessfully. More than half of the loss is fees and commission though.
If I had waited four minutes more, I would have almost broken even.
My one small profit of the day, but it was eaten up by the two small losses.
