I didn't do my homework at the end of February, so I felt it was time to do so now for the last two months.
February
I got cocky following good trades in January and started losing focus and not paying attention to the charts. I was shorting everything thinking I could win big on several trades, but ended up losing a lot. My profit chart was movign sideways as you can see. The last week I pulled myself together, did proper research, kept my nerves in place and did a couple of solid trades that put me back on track. Made a couple of small trades that I closed on the right side as well, adding up to the big total. YOD, QTWW, ROSG, ANGI, AXN, CAPN, BNFT, EYES, RUBI, and finally TTI at the beginning of March made a good month!
March
I kept my momentum from the end of February during the first week and was really having speed. Had a great start and then one big loss in ARUN following my holdings of EYES, but followed up with some small wins to add to my maximum and then my greatest trade yet in OHRP. This was followed by a week where my focus was not at all on trading as we had to take away our cat. That week I tried to open a lot of positions and let them run for me, leading to a bunch of small losses, adding up to a total screw up in my chart, much like the start of february but in a bigger scale. Having made these mistakes I once again went back to trading small and only adding to my winners. With this, I am now in April looking to end my first 1K trade, that might also become my first 1.5K or 2K (FOLD). Have held it through bounces and have full size with almost all my capital in it. A good end to a bad month, back around almost 7K, or 70% in 14 weeks of trading. Not too shabby. Compared to last month, almost all profit has come from 1 great trade instead of 10, so that is good.
Should probably try for like 5 trades now in April - 1 each week or so.
I was embarassed, didn't want to stop my $FOLD trade below 1K profit, which was stubborn and stupid. I need to learn timing when it comes to exiting. I have know problem holding long enough, and no problem with my entering, so I need to work on exiting in time.
