Watchlist/ small cap movers
WISA - mornings big gapper / continuation from yesterday $6.10 to $9.85 & would have been a great over night hold. No additional PR, just continuation of yesterday's run. Feels pretty overextended to me already so won't chase here but would only consider buying at market lows or retracement of support into breakout, second green day. If I wake up earlier maybe I get a piece of the action.
CXAI - holding yesterday's run up/ earnings PR news. Premarket lows of $4.53 set in. Would consider dip buy around premarket dip to $4.50- 4.60 area.
JAGX - putting in premarket lows of $0.17, would consider trade at test of premarket/ yesterdays lows around $0.17 - $0.175 area.
PXMD - Day 4 of current run. Yesterday lows of $0.55. Company put out a PR yesterday providing notice of receipt of an emergency request for IV Suramin from an African Health Ministry for use in treating fatal sleeping sickness. I've never heard of a "fatal sleeping sickness" before, so sounds like pure pump. They put out a Form 8K - a broad form used to notify investorys of specified events that may be important to shareholders. They have an S-1 & warrants priced in November at $1.30 so a key level to watch. $1.30 is a large jump & higher than the current run up has reached. Currently hitting premarket lows at $0.67. Support from yesterday at $0.66.
INVO - Reported Q4 earnings. Gap $0.75 to $1.41 reports significant revenue growth with a focus on expanding fertility treatment. Multi month breakout from response to earnings news. Watching for now. Could have bought breakout level at $1.67
VIAO - +96% to $0.70 market high momentum mover. I haven't liked momentum movers, but need to learn how to approach these. VIA optronics AG provides interactive display solution and systems for the industrial, automotive and consumer electronic markets.
AGFY - running on acquisition news. Nature's Miracle looks to acquire. runup from $.29 to premarket high of $0.59, currently clear premarket support at $.445, could be a good dip buy level.
VNDA - gap $4 to $5.30 future pak confirms proposal to acquire vanda pharmaceuticals for $7.25 to $7.75 per share in cash. Premarket high of $5.44, consiladating down to $$4.89.
PLCE - Gap $7.10 to $9.8 on announcement of $90 million in new unsecured financing provided by majority shareholder mithaq capital. They also have a class action lawsuit against them.
4/17/24 morning recap
(3) best missed opportunities. Need to size down so I have confidence to execute and take trades. I am watching them do exactly what my trade plan says.
CXAI dip buy at $4.60, risking support at $$4.522, sell into resistance at $4.87 (>5%).
INVO - VWAP hold buy at $2.23, sell into $2.45. Risk $2.18. Lesson is VWAP hold at 10AM worked for largest % gainer.
EDBL - almost pulled the trigger after the halt down at $5.80, would be holding into run up with stop loss moving higher. Crazy stock, microcap, halts often. Would have been a lucky one!
