I want to start off by reflecting on how I literally hit every single loop of the mental trading roller coaster this month. The perfect way to describe it is a "mashup" every trading lesson, mistake, psychological experience, new achievements, more realization, and so much more all put together in one. People tend to say, "it's not about how you start, it's how you finish," and in some ways this is how my October went. In multiple aspects, I am exponentially a better trader than I was even 1 week ago. Even then I made multiple stupid mistakes throughout and burnout and other crap but now I am 100% past them and have removed them completely. Midway thru the month, I was on pace for my worst $ month since I started trading in June, but I changed all the important little things that matter, and ended down for a scratch $7. Now I hate "should have, could have would have" bs because I only care what is there and the end result, but if I eliminated my 2 stupid trades on Thursday and Friday and if I were able to trade Tuesday, I know for a FACT this month would have gone much differently. However, my process is what matters, and with that being said I know exactly what I need to do for November. So much to reflect on and improve on as always, but I'm ready to go.
From a week of complete burnout to incoherency to a couple weeks of fully focusing on trade selection and process to the last week where all my lessons are coming together, November is going to be a big change for me. I don't let the past effect my mindset, I am only focused on the very next opportunity and trading my process as best as I can. There is always so much to learn, and it is a never ending process of little things building up. For November and beyond, I am removing all stupid avoidable mistakes and keying in on my main setup I know is profitable, just gotta stay disciplined and patient. I planned on writing a lot more for this, but I basically dumped everything on the NGT Youtube Episode, so I am running out of new things to say here. In the end, my goals are simple, trade my process the best I can, learn and improve from every trade, and only focus on what I know works for me.
