I will be opening a brokerage account in July and need some good software as well. Cannot open an E Trade account or use their software because I'm from the UK and you need $10,000 to open an IB account. When I do start trading I will not be able to afford Stocks To Trade as $175 a month is out of my budget with my shit apprentice wage.
I will probably open an account with Sure Trader as they accept UK custom and don't have a PDT rule. However I am unsure of whether their 'Pro' software will be adequate for me.
Questions:
a). Does anyone have experience with the Sure Trader Pro platform and if so is it adequate for day trading and are their any major issues with it that could create a problem?
b). Is there any other software other than IB, E Trade and Stocks To Trade that anybody would advise to use that can be obtained for $100 a month or less without a brokerage account?
Please help me with suggestions they will all be appreciated!
@daddymne eah I think Sure Trader is the best option given the circumstances and I think that most of the bad reviews are based around the poor customer service which is by no means the end of the world. I will eventually upgrade to Stocks to Trade but just don't have the required funds at the minute. Let me know how you get on with Sure Trader if you can I'm interested in the reliability and executions.
@Kushty Aight mate. I m planing to open account next week. (friday) and by the end of this month i hope i will to my frist trade. I'll subscribe to Tim's (14d) and Paul's Alert (14d) trial alert. That will last for 1 month, hope I ll make some money to re-subscribe to Tim. Also yeah I was chating maybe 10 times with ST agents, they was very nice. I will post everything whats happening with them. :) on every trade. Cheers mate.
@Kushty isn't free. You have to pay membership.
Etrade and IB are one of the best, the rest are trash bad execution etc you get what you get what you pay for!
