not ten minutes after I sold my position, new/old news reposts & stock is up to 4.45. ugh! The market hates me... JK, if I had cut my losses quickly yesterday, I wouldn't be having this conversation. Moving on...
Regrouping. This was a legs play, day 2 runner on good news in hot ev sector. Intuition told me to sell at 10.50 before it reached that level, but did not put in my sell limit order like a dummy so I sold for -.30 less because I didnât trust my self. Next resistance was at 10.84. Thought it might push through. Was greedy w/o looking at vwap level or support. The stock held both so I could have stayed in. Now at 10.77... Still a win:)
missed by exit at the open. was ready, but having broker software issues. So not happy about it, but.... moving on w/ a small loss = -$15 in fees. On to the next one....
I deserve this one. holding & hoping. did hold overnight w/ dreams of a big bounce. bounced a little. Sold at 1.78, then proceeded to go up to 1.90. I did not respect my stop yesterday and am lucky to get out w/ this loss.

Trying to cut losses quickly. Sell order not filled @ .092 or .090 even though hit target twice. Put in two more orders, none were filled even though stock moving like molasses. moving on.

I am an idiot. broke my rule about not trading between 11:15 and 1pm. Tim alerted to this trade & I bought in w/o looking at the 5min chart. had I done that would have waited instead of thinking it was breaking above recent high on the one minute. Then I looked away for a few minutes & it tanked. multiple errors made on this one. a lot of oil/energy plays today. then I overstayed....
Super small single. Great execution. <-- that's what I'm working on. Price never went below my stop. Biotech w/ Novartis licensing news.
FGD on + biotech news. bought the dip. working on not overstaying & hoping for a home run. small gains while refining dip strategy .
