Read some chatter in the chatroom this morning about E-Trade charging more for their data etc. Well as an E-Trade Pro user I dug into this which resulted in my subscription being deactivated. (more below)
Effect of December 2017 they are charging an additional $35 per month for level 2 data. So $134 a month unless of course you maintain $250k or meet 30 trades per quarter.
They have also made it a new requirement that you must maintain $1,000 in your account for level 1 data (or it'll be delayed) Since I do not have $1000 in my account ( I trade with IB) they deactivated my subscription until I do fund it. No big deal really but just thought I would share and clear up any misunderstanding.
Personally might look into DAS since I believe it's $150 a month - so for $15 extra can execute through that. Ideally would like STT eventually. Or might even go back to good 'ol ToS haha.
Hope this helped.
@JKelly thanks man what package do you have? I think I just need the $150 one right?
@Kody Yes just get the $150 one. DAS actually has a decent scanner for listed stocks too. It doesn’t catch them all but it does a decent job.
finviz pro and thinkorswim. STT is not for everyone even though on here there is propaganda everywhere for STT.
@JKelly thanks I appreciate it.
