In less than 24 hours, I lost about 40% of my account trying to play off of the riots and protest in DC. I didn't stick to my stop losses and it shows. I got a few lotto plays (yes I know that is stupid) to swing for a week or so while I gather myself and get my mind right. Was doing decent up until yesterday. Maybe I got cocky, over confident, or whatever. Maybe I just got caught up in the moment/hype of trying to reach 10K. I need to focus and mind my own damn business.

I've been watching $TSNP for about a week now, got in at $.03 and sold way too fucking early. This ticker had/has great news and is all over Twitter. If I had just watched this stock, bought low and sold high every day, my account would be looking great. But after I bought and sold, I went looking elsewhere, which has burned me. Next time I see a HOT stock, running the way this one did, I'm going to focus all my attention, and day trades on it. I cannot make this same mistake again. Missed out on potential thousands of dollars. SMDH.

One month after my first post I was still trying to trade at work and it still isn't ideal so from now on I'll stick to trading the PH when I do have work and any overnight hold, I guess I'll have to place an order before the open so that way I know I'll get executed. I do find that trading the ABCD, VWAP HOD, and breakouts are my best plays and should really just stick to those. I recently traded a sup-penny stock and it's crazy how they move, not sure I'll continue to play these in the future. I did have to add some money to my account after blowing up, gonna try real hard not to do that again. We shall see how everything looks at the end of next month.

Note to future self, trading at work hasn't been great the last two months. I have learned that holding overnight, trying to beat the PDT, just isn't for me at the moment. I am almost never available at the market open which resulted in taking a lot of losses with the overnight holds. I am finding luck with late day runners in the PH, which is going to be my one main pattern until I can master it. I almost blow up my account randomly trading and trying to trade the alerts. I will not do that anymore and will solely focus on these low float, late day runners, that are hitting new highs, and are liquid. These seem to be consistent for me, for now.
