@Kingstonstock85 Hey Kingstonstock85, I read your post about IB and bypassing the pdt rule using a broker like Lynx. How did you manage this?

MTBC is an interesting ticker to chase though. Now failing, but it was up on hype / expected earnings. Could be interesting to keep an eye on, if more bag holders are created (which will create available shares to shorts). Looks kind of evil, I know. But this could crash, to dip buy bla bla and short again on the "day after sympathy bounce" (even into the spike).
Also, invest in gramer or language education. Not that my skills are any good, but know the difference between now and know. Education is key kiddo ;)
@Kingstonstock85 english language is not my first language, and if it makes you happy, that was a typo. And why does everybody think i am a kid lol. I am 25 years old. I remember when profitly was a brand new place for traders, people were so much nicer. Now it seems like this "place" is ruined. For an example i cant post a simple questions involving the stock market without being belittled...
@Kingstonstock85 i see that your post replies without reading the topic, i use finviz and it does not show any results when i am searching for penny stocks
Ok. But 25 years old is still young man. i wish I was 25 kid. The money I could have made :D Anyway, Finviz is delayed like 15 minutes or so. Does your broker not show any news? Can't you set up a stockscreener in your broker? IB does. Also, never be too shy when it comes to live data. Like 80% of my choices are made from live data. And for my broker to show me live stocks in the stock scanner (that are in play now), I need to set the settings to live data. It cost like USD 5 or so. Maybe USD 30
Your analyis of yourself is great. And the fact that you have found your edge is great. Short sellers are not the norm in the trading world and going long is how most traders including myself do. I have tried my hands on shorting and its not just a natural feeling for me. But for you it seems like you are a natural.
Just be careful because you do not know which ticker will be a black swan so try and only short on first red days etcs. Because if i buy a 1000 shares i only lose the value over time unlike you who could lose everything in an instant. High risk High reward. Good luck
inspirational I would say! And absolute great reflection/progression in your trading career ;) Nice to read this
can see where you are going w/ this. Im still a green horn at day trading; getting better by the day. I got roached a few times this year on what I thought were perfect long plays. MTBC was one. I entered long mid-June @ $1.99 after several bangs of positive news. It tanked immediately. My mistake was I entered off of just news & not price action. Still, this can be a weird market, & shorting for sure has its place.
Look at APHB
I did and crossed it off my list because it is a garbage failing company
