Okay, well let's just get my quick autobiography out of the way. I am a 16-year-old stock trader currently living in Upstate New York with my middle-class family. I have been trading for about a year now and I have used a few brokers to truly find which one is the best for me. Currently, I am using Etrade to fill my trades both in school and at home. I use Etrade pro on my computer for charting at my home and I use TD Ameritrade's "Think Or Swim" software on my phone for things such as level ll and cleaner charts. My first initial investment into my stock account was one thousand dollars. Yes, you can be successful starting with even 500. Personally, I find it much more pleasurable to start with more, and maybe even easier to some. The fact being that this is due to the fact that commissions on a small account while using Etrade, or TD Ameritrade can truly eat away quite quickly and put a nice dent in trades that should have been profitable or shoot down trades that are going against you. I will touch more on my upbringing to this community, and lifestyle in a later blog post. This post is just an introduction to who I am and what I intend to do. My goal by my senior year in High School is 100,000 dollars in profits. Seems ambitious for someone in my shoes, but I know I have the drive to succeed In this industry. I am currently overall right around ten thousand dollars in profit overall. This has been in the span of around a year. I play the most volatile and hot stocks on the market. I have a set of tight rules, and ideals that I trade by. I have learned these from multiple different mentors including Timothy Sykes. This blog post is to just give people who come across my various platforms a little idea of who I am. Obstacles I am currently facing include the strictness of the teachers at my school with cell phone policy, little to no time during the day to look at charts and trade, and also the fact that I have very few days in which I am home to trade (I prefer trading at home). These obstacles are very hard to get over, but I know that I will be able to overcome this. I sometimes skip even weeks at a time trading due to having to focus on my grades, but that is part of the hustle. My goal after learning to perfect my craft is to educate younger people in this industry and to help people like me become smart, respectable, and wealthy people. Thank you to whoever reads this little post. You can find me on twitter @PacinoBlock for any questions.
