After one month of trading I'm happy to see I've learnt a lot.
First positive is even though I have too many losing trades statistically, I've managed to learn to cut losses fast and I'm still up a little. If I'm more selective with my trades and keep cutting losses quickly my account should grow.
My two biggest areas to work on are holding my risk and sticking to my trade plans. I've gotten scared out too easily and lost profits. I always stick to it when it crosses my risk but when things are going for me sometimes I get out too soon.
Overnight holds seem to be going well for me I'll keep looking for them everyday. I have less success with morning BO so far. Need to wait a few minutes to see which way it's going and look for an ideal time to enter.
I also need to be more cautious putting in orders, I've made a few mistakes, buying too many shares, shorting by accident, or not realizing that my order hasn't been filled completely which cost me unnecessary losses.
My goals for the upcoming month are
1. Continue my education process by watching video lessons, webinars, analyzing my own trades, and researching the market.
2. Look for overnight holds as they seem to be working out better for me at the moment.
3. Be more cautious with order entries, so easy to make mistakes here.
4. Stick to first 2 hours or last 2 hours of the day unless something amazing pops up.
Great Post! Your goals easily apply to my journey at this point also....thank you.
Thanks for posting. It encourages me to know people are honest here. My first day here. I love the transparency of this site so far!
Cool, glad you could relate asfricksrs.
I'm pretty confident people who aren't honest with themselves will get destroyed in the long run.
