Even though not trading at the moment I wanted to go through a nice detail on how I find stocks and what settings I use for my scanners, with screen shots. Any questions feel free to reply, I'll do my best to answer it.
NOTE: Ideas Are My Opinion And are NOT Investment Advice of any kind.
First scanner I use is my Pattern Setups scanner, etrade gives great tools, just have to know how to use them. All my filters are the same for each scanner.
These are my filters,
3min to 12max dollar stock(adjusted to your liking)
Minimum 500,000 volume for the day, need volatile stocks.
Once again Filters same for all scanners
These are my alerts,
Channel breakout/down Confirmed(0.05) for both, Channel breakout/down(2.5) for both
All of the crossed above resistance and below support alerts are set for 2 hours of trading,
Like to give them time, for confirmation and for me able to read the 3-day 15-min Chart.
The 30-Min Consolidation Breakout is set at .10, basically means moving up 10c, like to wait for a pull back on these alerts.
The Triangle bottom(bullish) and Triangle Top(bearish) both set at 1 hours of trading, these are used for intraday plays.
The Broadening Bottom(bullish) and Broadening Top(bearish) both set at 1 hours of trading, used for intraday trading.
The last 4 alerts mentioned play off the breakout or the breakdown at the market open, usually after the big move has been made, Time I usually wait for is 10am.
Next scanner I use is called Short Squeezescanner
UPDATE: $GLBL now testing 2.80 range, as I outlines in this blog. If it can break and hold above 2.80 Could squeeze to 3.30s according to chart, will continue to follow today.
