Tried to sell quicker but accidently put in market instead of limit, then canceled and replaced trade. Had to cut losses quickly.
Once again I stupidly traded at the market price without knowing any of Tim's basics. Even though I went into it ignorant, looking back this is proof to me now that I had the instinct to CUT LOSSES QUICKLY! #1 Rule!
Once again I stupidly traded at the market price without knowing any of Tim's basics so I'm certain using the market price to get in and get out of the trade screwed me over. Never again!
This was a trade I made off of instinct that is was overhyped via news of a Covid vaccine approaching the next trial phase. I'm aware that I got lucky because I didn't know what I was doing. I stupidly traded at the market price, and I didn't know about any of Tim's basics including trade volume, gaps, dip buys or stop losses. Even though I went into it ignorant, looking back this is proof to me now that I at least have the heart to be a day trader and all I need next is knowledge and guidance.
