Today I scared myself out of my entry and I didn't cut loss quickly Not a good way to start the year. I am really disappointed in my trading today. I did not stick to my exit strategy. Resulting in a major loss. I need to focus on not overthinking the trade. If I traded when I wanted to go in. I would have made a profit.

I was all over the place with this trade. I messed up on the entry by buying market and having to sit through a drop. (I know, I should have covered loss quickly, but I was too busy beating myself up for not going into COMP Was the better play.) Not a loss but an opportunity loss in my book. Cut loss quick and leave your emotions at the door. Good to still be green on the day on the positive side. But sucks that I could have done better.

I wanted my exit to be .30 as the volume looked really good for the breakout. I definitely played it to safe. But a win is better than a loss.
