Introduction:
Hi, I'n new here (If you didn't already guess that XD). I have watched a few of Tim's videos and I am trying to get familiar with the process. (Scanning for percent gainers, following trading communities (like this one), finding a stock with a wave of buyers, and hopping on the momentum. Then taking profits early to not be greedy, that's important.)
How I found the Stock:
I found this on otcmarkets.com while scanning for percent gainers and ignoring anything without a decent amount of $ volume, around 100k is good for penny stocks. (This is not shares volume but $ volume. Shares x price, I scan for that because it's easier than specifying a minimum of say a million shares, then finding stocks with a million volume but a price of $.0001. This way scanning is easier.
The Stock:
Then I saw the chart. It was not a 20% gainer, more like a thousand! It has decent volume ($100-200k each day) and good news. Long story short the article you see at the bottom of the picture is an amazing PR. They are developing a fungal bio-cide against a fungus that attacks coffee (and cost Central America about $2.5 billion each year in damages). The bio-cide has been proven effective in five farms for four months, and now the suppliers of coffee to Starbucks and Nestle have taken notice and are testing the product. Results come in 2-3 months, and so far its been successful.
Honestly I predict good results, as the fungal-cide has already shown to be successful, but Tim says never to gamble on test results/earnings.. but there is nothing against buying towards the anticipation of good results and publicity and selling before the results come in (say a month before to be safe). But I am new to penny stocks (not stocks in general) and would like to hear advice and input on what you have to say or think where this will go. Thanks for reading, and thanks to any help you give ^~^.
wowzers, look at that gain! ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

price change* not volume
I think you have your filter set too sensitive to low priced stocks.
Tim doesn't recommend buying below 1Cent.
@grysmith this stock is not below 1 cent, it never was below 1 cent, even before the uptread, but yea point taken its very low. This is a true penny stock though XD.
