I hope everyone had a great day today. My day was solid as I’m up roughly $250 on PRGN from my afternoon swing into tomorrow. Typically I build my watch list when AH closes but my girlfriend and I are hosting our friends that are getting married in Napa later on in the year this weekend and I have to pick them up from the airport. I only have 1 day-trade left for tomorrow and we’ll see how everything looks in the morning but as of now, these are the 2 that I’ll be watching. When I get home later tonight I may add a few to my watch but for now this is what I have for you guys. I hope you all have a great night and I look forward to closing the week strong manana! PRGN – I’m really happy with my patience here and not forcing a trade. I was really upset a few weeks ago when I missed the huge run up because I was working at the rooftop. I forced a trade in EBIO that cost me a little and I ended up taking a week break. As I saw this spiking to nearly $2 today, I considered buying it with the intention of it breaking out past $2 and running. Instead, I waited patiently to see how it played out. I ended up getting in at $1.65 1000 shares in the afternoon with the goal of swinging this overnight. When it spikes big on day 1, it has proven that it can spike big day 2 as well and that was my plan going into it. So even when it reached $1.95 and I was up $300 and then it dropped all the way back down to where I entered, I still held on and stuck to my plan. It rallied into the close and I still think this gaps up in the morning and runs past $2.38 and if it can get there, I may take full profits or take half and see if it can really run back up to the $3’s. I’m not going to get my hopes up and if it starts to fail, I’ll look to get out first thing in the morning or in PM if it’s tanking. I’m up roughly $250 into the close and it’s now down a little in AH as I’m typing but I’m sticking to my plan.

 

ORIG – Here’s an earnings winner that is a monster in AH right now as they announced after the bell. There’s some resistance at $2.54 and if it can break that tomorrow, I think it could possibly touch $3. The last few earnings winners that I’ve come across have dropped significantly on day two when they announce in AH on Day 1 so I’m curious on how this will react tomorrow in the morning. I’m building my watch list early today because I have to pick up our friends that’s staying with us this weekend from the airport so I’ll see how this closes AH once I get home later tonight.
