Yet another big day for me and I’m very happy with how I’ve been trading since taking that bad UNIS loss that upset me. I nailed VPCO again today from my overnight position at .0067. I sold this morning at .0087 just before it tanked all the way back down to the .003’s. I’m glad I had a flight today because it forced me to sell early and not hold for a penny. We all know how that would have gone so I’m all smiles here. Not to mention I’m in Aspen for the weekend! I will be here for the market open tomorrow as I’ve got a small position in CIE overnight. I’m looking to sell that within the first hour of the day and then I’m going to enjoy my weekend here. Here’s a recap of my day and stay tuned for my watch list later on tonight.

VPCO – What a monster today and I don’t think it’s quite done yet. I’m going to be very cautious here and if it drops below $0.006 tomorrow morning, I’ll look to get out. The reason I think this has room to go up is do to the fact that we haven’t seen a huge volume spike yet. Usually when stocks go supernova (and you can make an argument that it did today), there is a HUGE volume spike as well and we haven’t seen that. We’ve seen a slow growth in volume each of the past few days and I’m hoping tomorrow is the day we get that huge spike. If you look at NXTD back in January for example, there were a few decent volume days leading up to the big spike with monster volume. I’m thinking we’ve yet to see this beast get unleashed and I think we’ll see over a penny tomorrow or Friday. Just awesome! I had an hour to trade this morning before our flight and caught this finally spiking after a small delay in the morning and closed out for a .002 gain or $400. I left a little on the table as this nearly got to a penny before tanking hard as I was driving to the airport. I’m very happy with my trading this week especially here on this sub-penny. I thought about re-entering at .0035 late in the day and couldn’t get executed before it ran up to .0047. I’m pretty sure this will wind up back in the .001’s by tomorrow or Monday but I wouldn’t be too sure of anything with this as I can also see it spiking back up above .006. Wait for the price action in the morning. I’m done here as far as I’m concerned.
SUNE – After dropping a little in PM again today, this spiked up huge towards the end of the day and then dropped in AH all the way back down. I would’ve loved to short this today after that spike but was preoccupied with VPCO. Not to mention I don’t have anymore day trades this week and I didn’t want to hold overnight. This has been hovering between $1.70 and $1.40 for the past few days and I’d like to see if we can break either one of those levels. Until then, no play for me.
Here’s a few stocks that I’m always watching do to their volatility and ability to spike huge given the right catalyst or PR. Sometime they spike when they start to get near their long term support levels also without any catalyst.
VLTC, LIVE, AVXL, HMY, NXTD, TGD, UNIS, GSS, ELMD
If you would like to know why these are on my watch list you can either ask, or go back into my watch lists from earlier in the year explaining in detail what I’m looking at and why.
I know right. I really need to when this happens, but I missed that big ride up and the crash since I was working.
Great Job trading. After losing about $10,000 last few months I decided to take two months off and start paper trading. I had VPCO on my watchlist because of you and made a nice small percentage gain. Thanks for your watchlist a they are very helpful.
