Well, at least I called the Bronco’s defense stepping up and winning it for Manning. Unfortunately, UNIS had another delay and day traders bailed and the stock tanked. I was stuck in traffic and literally got to my computer as the market was opening and sold my position as it dropped to $0.95. I lost $20 on the trade when I could’ve made $100 had I sold Friday like I said I would last week. Another lesson learned. I did enter into a new position in TGD as it was breaking out past long-term resistance. I still think this has some juice left as we’ve been getting more and more volume each day. I’d love to see $0.30 by the end of the week and I’m only risking $0.03/share. Here’s a recap of my video lesson and watch list. Thanks!

UNIS – Man I can’t wait for tomorrow! The anticipation of their news and earnings is driving me nuts. After doing a lot of research and DD, I ended up buying this last week prior to the announcement as it was breaking out past $1. I mentioned last week that I would wait until the news comes out or if it broke out past $1. I got my buy order in at $1 and I’m only risking $0.10/share. If news is bad, I will look to sell in PM and hopefully take gains as I’m up $0.20/share currently. There have been rumors that AMGN may now try to straight up buy out UNIS which would be huge (look at LF Friday) or they’re going to take a 20% stake of UNIS which would also be great. This will be my main focus tomorrow. Kind of angry about this now looking back in hindsight but it’s a good lesson learned. Coulda woulda shoulda sold at $1.24 (Which was my target!) and instead I held with the anticipation of a deal and earnings today. That bit me in the ass and instead of taking a $100 profit I walk away with a $20 loss. It could’ve been worse as people kept bailing on this as we saw another delay for earnings and the deal with AMGN. Stay tuned tomorrow AH for some fun lol.
HMY – Now up over $0.50/share from my buy last week L I knew this was a good swing trade it was just moving way too slow for me. I did take profits but left over $100 on the table. I still think this continues to climb over the next couple months with a few pull back here or there. I would be tempted to jump back in on any dips here. This just keeps going up and it’s beautiful. No play for me now really unless it pulls back a little as this is a little pricey for me. I like my upside with TGD more. Still a great swing for those of you who have the extra capital to invest for a few weeks.
TGD – Now up 60% from my buy a few weeks ago! I haven’t stopped watching this. I’ve just been preoccupied with UNIS. If you go back to my watch list from 2 weeks ago, I break down the trade and where I thought this was headed. I mentioned after I took my profits that I thought it would continue to run if it could break $0.14, which it did Thursday, and then ran to $0.1650 on Friday. The next resistance level to watch is going to be $0.18 and if it can breakout past that, I can see this getting to $0.30. I will be watching this closely as well for the next couple days and weeks. Lots of upside here with very little risk. Wow! Almost 100% gains since I bought at $0.1050. Too bad I sold in the $0.13’s. I did rebuy this today however as it broke out past some more long term resistance and I think if this can break out past $0.22 tomorrow, we’ll be free sailing to $0.30 by the end of the week. I got in today at $0.1757 with a decent position size but nothing crazy (2000 shares). I’m looking to make $0.10-$0.15 and risking $0.03/share.
Here’s a few stocks that I’m always watching do to their volatility and ability to spike huge given the right catalyst or PR. Sometime they spike when they start to get near their long term support levels also without any catalyst.
HEAR, EKSO, VLTC, LIVE, AVXL
