Today was definitely a frustrating day for me even though I made money haha. I’m not upset by any means, it’s just frustrating when you call something perfectly and trade it terribly. (not terribly because I made money) but I didn’t even take the meat of the move….I took a small little tiny bite for skinny people and I’m trying to get FAT over here. I lost patience with PTX as it was up in PM but then failed to breakout past $1.10 at the open. As it was failing to hold $1, I got out quickly and took a small loss only to see this spike to $1.25 in the afternoon. So instead of making $100 I lost $25. I also got in XGTI as I called that perfectly last night as well at $0.12 and sold at $0.1315 since it could quite get back to the PM highs like I was hoping. No more than 10 minutes after I sold, it ran to $0.1650 and I lost out on another $350. Again, I made a little money today so I cant be too hard on myself here but when you call something perfectly and then don’t execute it perfectly, it can get annoying. I did have some errands I had to run so I stepped away from the market for a few hours and came back towards the close. I didn’t really see anything worth holding overnight so I’m ALL CASH headed into tomorrow. Here’s how the rest of my list played out today. Time for me to go Uber for a few hours to make some more money (I never stop working guys if you haven’t noticed) and then I’ll be back later to put out my watch list for tomorrow. Lata!

PTX – This was brought to my attention by @Matticus over the weekend as it was up big in AH on Friday because Point 72 (Steve Cohen) took a 5.8% stake in the company. This morning it spiked to nearly $1.40 in PM and hen dropped hard out of the gate. Because it was a billionaire play, I decided to take a smaller position (500 shares) at $1.05. I was going to risk $0.05 as I mentioned on Twitter but decided I didn’t want to take a small loss and waste a day trade because I remembered this was a billionaire play and they can run for several days. At one point I was down almost $125 but it found support at $0.90 and then rallied in power hour and AH’s. I want to see how this acts in the morning but if it can’t breakout past $1.10-$1.13, I’ll look to get out for a breakeven or small loss. However, if this starts running in the morning and breaks out above $1.45ish, it can really run. **TOP WATCH FOR ME** This was up in PM and I didn’t want to sell it in PM because I thought it could retest the $1.30’s from yesterday at the open. It did drop quite a bit before the open and then failed to get back to $1.10 and dropped at the bell. I saw it starting to crack $1 and when it did (it took out about 100K buyers instantly) I put my limit in at $1 and shortly after got executed for a small loss. Later in the afternoon this started running and ended up spiking to $1.25 before closing at $1.10. Had I been a little more patient here it could’ve been a nice little win but as I said on Twitter, I can’t be upset because I stuck to my plan of getting out if it couldn’t breakout past that $1.10-$1.13 level. Oh well!
ULTR – This was a monster today spiking all the way to $0.80 before dropping back down to the high $0.40’s low $0.50’s. It did still close up 80%+ on the day which is incredible considering it dropped so much from its highs. My guess is that this is coming down hard tomorrow but I’m going to be very careful trying to short this. I want to see this attempt $0.60 again before looking to short this but again, it can definitely continue to spike so I’ll stay patient and wait for the right entry. This was no play for me as it was already down big in PM and once the market opened, it really didn’t do much the rest of the day. I was right in the sense that I thought this was coming down, I was just hoping it could spike a little in the morning to short into and that never happened. Sat on my hands and now I’m moving on from this one. No play for me now.
TRX – No news that I could find here today so it may just be a technical breakout here that’s justifying the move as it’s breaking out past multi-month resistance today and closed above that level. There is some more resistance in the low $0.60’s so I’m curious to see if this can get there which would be a 20% win. Ideally I’d like to see the volume pick up in the morning but this never really trades more than 1 million shares in a day. If the volume can pick up, this can really run. If it dips to $0.45, I may consider dip buying it there. This most likely isn’t going to be a monster like some of the recent plays we’ve had in this market, but it could be a nice solid 10-20% win if you play it right. This attempted to breakout (briefly it did) from yesterdays high but it was on such low volume that I wasn’t trying to trade this one. I actually considered shorting it there at $0.56, but I’m going to hold off until this really fails that technical breakout from yesterday. I’ll still consider this going both ways but I want to see more volume before I do.
LLEX – This was up big on higher than average volume but double topped at $0.22. I could go either way on this tomorrow depending on if it can breakout from past that resistance at $0.22. If it can with higher volume than we saw today, it could make its way back up to $0.30ish. If it fails though, it could drop back down to $0.10 or a 50% move. So this can possibly be in play either way tomorrow and I’ll be watching that $0.22 level in the morning. No volume whatsoever here. Sorry for putting this on watch guys…it’s now off lol. Hope none of you wasted your time with this one.
XGTI – This ramped up in the afternoon from $0.08 to just over $0.10, dropped to $0.09 and then went right back to $0.10 and then it reached $0.11 in AH. Most likely insider buying here so I would be careful with this but it can definitely get to $0.15, which would be a great win! I’ll be watching this one closely tomorrow as well especially if the volume picks up in the morning. This was frustrating today as I called it perfectly. I said I thought this could spike 50% and it did just that. We saw heavy volume in PM as it touched $0.17 or 70% and then it started dipping towards the open. It dropped in the morning to $0.11 and I bought it at $0.12 as it was starting to rebound with a wall or buyers at $0.11. It spiked to $0.14 and couldn’t quite keep going and started dropping under $0.13 and I didn’t want to take a loss here so I got out for a nice $100 or 10% win. Minutes after I sold, it ran all the way up to $0.165 where I predicted it would go on Twitter and left $350 on the table. It ended up finding support at $0.12 later in the day and ran all the way back up to $0.15 towards the close. It is definitely frustrating when you call something perfectly and you can’t execute it perfectly for whatever reason…today was because I was impatient and scared of losing profits since I have been a little sloppy in the past few days. I hope some of you banked on this alert though!
