Saw Tim's alert on this one, took a look at it and saw the chart pattern, it was a buy all the way. So I bought with the intention of holding overnight. Tuesday morning, ZAGG tanked and I got out as quick as I could. I buy a stock and it tanks has become a recurring theme for me as indicated by my future trades.

2.75+ was going to be a breakout price, I was watching the stock and had no intention of buying until that price point. I set a limit order to buy at 2.75 and it immediately was filled at 2.70. Because I'm a noob, I didnt understand limit orders and how they worked, so now suddenly I have a position that I didnt want. Of course the stock immediately tanks, thats my super power, I buy a stock and it immediately tanks.....anyway, it bounced around and I was able to get out and only lose commission

When I was paper trading, I blindly followed one of Tim's alerts and lost big. I thought it was a great lesson and I would never do that again. Fast forward to my first live trade and I did it again! I spent the day watching one trade after another pass me up, I got antsy and let my emotions take over and I jumped into a trade solely on an alert and paid for it! Completely my fault.
